Effective Wednesday, May 27, 2020 – residents and employers of Martin County will be able to receive services from our Martin County NCWorks Career Center via text message! Individuals can text a KEYWORD to receive specialized assistance!

THE PUBLIC SHOULD TAKE NOTICE that the Rivers East Workforce Development Board is soliciting comments on the Local and Regional Workforce Development Area Plan for Program Year 2020 from May 21 – June 22, 2020.
Interested citizens are encouraged to review the plan and submit comments. Any comments received will be considered by the Rivers East Workforce Development Board. Please email any comments about the plan and/or any questions regarding the plan to jbowen@mideastcom.org.
As we continue to expand and adapt our services to the residents and employers of Beaufort County, beginning Friday, May 15, the Beaufort County NCWorks Career Center is transitioning its existing text messaging system to a new number and adding additional “keywords”.

The Rivers East Workforce Development Board will meet on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 3 pm.
