NCWorks Career Centers across our Region recently participated in Luggage of Hope. Luggage of Hope provides gently used or new suitcases or bags with basic toiletries to children who enter the foster care system. Many of those children leave home with little to nothing and many times, their clothes are in plastic bags. Department of Commerce staff from across the State participated through their local Career Centers as well. Below are the collections received from the Beaufort, Hertford, Martin, and Pitt County Centers.

Donations received by our Centers will benefit local children. Staff were excited to participant and we look forward to more state-wide partnerships that allow us to help the job seekers and their families in our region.
