At the January 13, 2021 Rivers East Workforce Development Board meeting, three individuals/organizations were recognized for their outstanding workforce development efforts in the Rivers East region of Beaufort, Bertie, Hertford, Martin, and Pitt counties. The Rivers East Workforce Development Board is soliciting contracted service quotes to develop and review career guidance lesson plans, and to insert the appropriate North Carolina Course of Study Standard to each lesson plan.  Applicants must possess a working knowledge of career guidance and the NC Course of Study Standards, and a demonstrated ability to develop lesson plans. Please email proposals to include a price quote, example lesson plan prepared by the applicant, and description of applicant’s working knowledge of career ...

The Rivers East Workforce Development Board is excited to announce that the Hertford County NCWorks Career Center will begin providing in-person career services in Bertie County twice a week beginning Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Staff from the Hertford County NCWorks Career Center will be on Martin Community College’s (MCC’s) Bertie Campus every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. MCC’s Bertie Campus is located at 409 Granville Street in Windsor. Staff will offer services such as resume assistance, career ...
