After serving in the U.S. Army, Martha “Marty” Dwyer returned to North Carolina. Marty had been working with a local temporary agency until she could find a full-time job that allowed her to use the many talents and skills she developed while serving our Country. Like many military personnel transitioning back into civilian work, Marty found things a bit difficult to navigate. Through our On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program, we are able to partner with the N.C. United Methodist Church Disaster Response Program to offer Marty a full-time job as a Data Entry Clerk. She started work today! We are excited to see what awaits Marty as she begins her new career. We would also like to thank her for her service to our Country!
If you are interested in learning more about our OJT Program, please contact Lou Stout, Business Engagement Coordinator, at 252-974-2446 or lstout@mideastcom.org. If you are transitioning out of the military and would like assistance with job placement, please visit your local NCWorks Career Center and a staff member would be happy to assist you.
