Rivers East Workforce Development Board (WDB) is seeking a Project Manager to provide coordination and oversight for implementation of the Rivers East Academy, a special project funded by Golden Leaf, to promote advanced manufacturing career pathways to vested employers, committed educators, economic developers, and workforce professionals across 6 counties in northeastern NC including Beaufort, Bertie, Hertford, Hyde, Martin and Pitt. Rivers East Workforce Development Board (REWDB) and NCWorks are partnering with nine other workforce boards to present North Carolina’s first virtual Small Business Workforce Forum on Thursday, January 26, from 10 am–12 pm. Rivers East Workforce Development Board in partnership with Hyster-Yale Group, Pitt County Economic Development, and Gregory Poole Lift Systems is happy to share that the Forklift Rodeo is back! This event—which will be held on October 7, 2022 from 8:30am-12:30pm at Uptown Greenville’s Five Points Plaza parking lot—will feature teams composed of forklift operators from local manufacturing companies competing against one another in various courses.
