Our Bertie County NCWorks Career Center moved on Thursday, August 30.  The new location is 105 E. Granville St., in downtown Windsor and is hosted by Ross Innovative Employment Solutions.  Hours of the Center will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm.  The Center will be closed tomorrow (Friday, August 31 and Monday, September 3) to complete the move-in process.  The Center will open to the public on Tuesday, September 4.

Career Advisors across Region Q visited Hyster-Yale today and toured the facility to learn more about potential job opportunities.  Job seekers visit our Centers every day and inquire about specific jobs and the skills needed.  Unfortunately, most of our Career Advisors have never seen the jobs ‘up close and personal’.  Through these industry tours, Career Advisors are able to see the jobs being performed, the equipment used, and talk with the front-line staff actually performing those jobs.  In turn, when ...
