The Region Q Workforce Development Board recently awarded the Beaufort County NCWorks Career Center the Sam Carson Award.  The Center developed a collaborative and systematical approach to assist job seekers in Beaufort County by partnering with multiple agencies to promote workforce development and create a talent pipeline that matched job seekers to local employers.  In addition, they worked with their local public school system to have juniors and seniors registered into our online portal, NCWorks.gov.  The Center went on to ...
