The Rivers East Workforce Development Board is seeking the following award nominations:
The DuPont Davis Award recognizes the outstanding efforts of an individual who has promoted and delivered workforce development activities within the local NCWorks Career Center system, other workforce development programs, and businesses.
The Sam Carson Award recognizes the outstanding efforts of the NCWorks Career Center, Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act program operator, or NCWorks Center partner in the counties of Beaufort, Bertie, Hertford, Martin, or Pitt which has demonstrated efforts in the marketing and promotion of the Workforce Development System.
The Annie Mobley Award recognizes an Outstanding Youth in the Workforce Development Programs.
The recipent(s) of the Rivers East WBD awards will also be nominated for the Governor’s Awards presented at the NCWorks Partnership Conference in October. Nominations are due to Jennie Bowen, Workforce Development Director, by close of business on April 3. Completed forms can be emailed to jbowen@mideastcom.org.
