The Washington Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce hosts a weekly Cable TV show entitled “Beaufort County News and Views“. The purpose is to promote Chamber Members, people, places, and events in and around Beaufort County. The show is taped in three segments for a total of 21 minutes. Recently, our Business Engagement Coordinator joined Catherine Glover, Chamber Director, to discuss the services we offer throughout Region Q. Region Q serves Beaufort, Bertie, Hertford, Martin, and Pitt counties.
We offer a variety of services through our Career Centers to assist both job seekers and employers. Job seekers can receive assistance with job search, creating their NCWorks account, resume prep, interviewing skills, application completion, career interest assessments, and much more. Employers can receive assistance with job orders and referrals, pre-hire assessments, application acceptance, collaborate recruitment planning, incumbent training grants, and much more.
