NC East Alliance and Rivers East Workforce Development Board have partnered to develop the Rivers East Academy for Advanced Manufacturing. The Rivers East Academy is a unique multicounty solution that will comprise of a 3-year high school teacher externship professional learning program. On Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., the Rivers East Workforce Development Board will host Let’s Go To The Fair Virtual Job Fair. Participating employers include Camfil Clean Air Solutions, Fuji Silysia, Iconic Marine Group, MJM Yachts, NC Departments of Public Safety and Transportation, Metcore Industrial Solutions, Nease Personnel, Nucor (Hertford Co.), Nutrien, Spinrite, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Weyerhaeuser.

An Inclusion Committee Meeting has been scheduled for September 28, 2021 at 3:30pm. This meeting is open to the general public and will be held via Zoom, with a call-in option.
