Job Opportunity-Career Pathways Facilitator

The Region Q Workforce Development Board (WDB), along with two partnering workforce boards (Turning Point and Northeastern) is seeking a Career Pathways Facilitator to provide coordination and assistance for implementation of career pathways with vested employers, committed educators, training and placement services providers, economic developers, and workforce professionals across the 17 counties in Northeastern NC.

Deliverables include, but are not limited to, convening meetings of key regional stakeholders, facilitating collaborations among a variety of partners, developing marketing and recruitment strategies to promote & sustain NCWorks Certified Career Pathways within the region, and serving on various regional and state teams.

This contracted position requires an individual with experience developing or knowledge of existing career pipelines or pathways; an established network of employers, industry associations, labor and/or community based organizations; and experience planning and facilitating meetings. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Anticipated start date of the position is September 1, 2017. This contract is funded through June 30, 2018.
